I appreciated that Oaken appeared to be a very different type of man from the one who had caused Boo so much grief。 I am so excited to read the future books in this series!I received a complimentary copy of this book。 All opinions are my own。You can read this review on my blog:https://brittreadsfiction。wordpress。c。。。 。。。more

This has got to be one of Warren's best books。 This was an awesome read。 I loved Boo and Oaken。 They were both such great characters, and he made a great hero - a little uncertain and unsure of himself, but he came through when needed。The book had a lot - a lot - of drama and tense moments。 I think this author is at her best when she is writing about her characters rescuing people。 She did such a great job of describing the scenes, the danger, the tense moments for the rescuers。 It was epic。And This has got to be one of Warren's best books。 This was an awesome read。 I loved Boo and Oaken。 They were both such great characters, and he made a great hero - a little uncertain and unsure of himself, but he came through when needed。The book had a lot - a lot - of drama and tense moments。 I think this author is at her best when she is writing about her characters rescuing people。 She did such a great job of describing the scenes, the danger, the tense moments for the rescuers。 It was epic。And Warren did a pretty good job of writing country music lyrics :)When the book started, Oaken thought God was out to get him, to punish him, and he had some pretty messed up ideas about his sister's death some years before。 The author, through some of the characters, especially "Moose" and Axel, had some great truths。。。。。which is something I love about Christian fiction。 God can use it to speak to the readers。For such an action and drama-filled book, it had a quiet but very cool ending。 I am looking forward to the next book in the series。 I like the team the author has put together, and can't wait to read the others' stories。 。。。more

My thoughts: One Last Shot is Ms。 Warren's latest and it is a page turner。 I didn't want to put this book down。 Boo is reserved, cautious, and relateable, and Oaken is a star who lives big。 They'd both been targeted on social media and their names run through the mud, but all they can do is live with it。 Or is it? I enjoyed this book so much i want to go back and read it again。 Recommended。 I was given a copy free and all opinions are my own。 My thoughts: One Last Shot is Ms。 Warren's latest and it is a page turner。 I didn't want to put this book down。 Boo is reserved, cautious, and relateable, and Oaken is a star who lives big。 They'd both been targeted on social media and their names run through the mud, but all they can do is live with it。 Or is it? Debb Hackett,
Get this ordered now。 Susan May Warren other very finest in my opinion。 I loved this book and read it in 2。5 days。 The characters ,plot, description, spiritual content, all excellent。 Cannot wait for books 2,3&4。
Aletha,
Another cute Susie May book! Love the MN homegirl finding her way to AK。 Love the search and rescue aspect of the books。 Always a lot of fun! Some mild inaccuracies it felt like…or maybe I was just misimagining locations, because at one point she was two hours from Anchorage visiting family but seemed closer to Denali even from anchorage…and also she throws a cup away in recycling bins at the hospital…STILL GOOD。 I’m excited for the next。
MJSH,
"There's the story we create and the story we're created for。 Maybe that's what this adventure is all about。"I've read quite a few of Susan May Warren's books and every new release is like a breath of fresh air, filled with fast-action adrenaline, heart-stopping romance, and soul-edifying spiritual truths。 And I do so love how her characters from previous series overlap and weave themselves into new plots, triggering nostalgia while diving headfirst into a new and exciting adventure。 We're back "There's the story we create and the story we're created for。 Maybe that's what this adventure is all about。"I've read quite a few of Susan May Warren's books and every new release is like a breath of fresh air, filled with fast-action adrenaline, heart-stopping romance, and soul-edifying spiritual truths。 And I do so love how her characters from previous series overlap and weave themselves into new plots, triggering nostalgia while diving headfirst into a new and exciting adventure。 We're back in Alaska for this series and it was fun to hang out with the Kingstons while getting to know their cousin Boo from Minnesota。 Boo, with her mad survival skills and EMT instincts, is hiding from social media and the fiasco that upended her life while rescuing people with the newly formed Alaska Air One Rescue team。 Oaken is a charming country music star needing some reality TV show time to boost his image on social media。 Of course, accidents, unpredictable Alaskan weather, and meddling friends and co-workers turn both of their lives upside down and it's truly a rollercoaster ride physically and emotionally from the beginning to the end for Boo and Oaken。 It was also fantastic getting to know Moose, the head of the rescue team, in this book。 Though the next book sounds like it will be about his brother Axel, Moose had some great spiritual advice for Oaken throughout the book。 I can't wait for his story! If you enjoy romantic suspense with great faith thread, this book is a must-read。 I received a complimentary copy courtesy of Revell via Interviews & Reviews and was under no obligation to post a positive comment。 All opinions are my own。 。。。more
