I've really enjoyed this story very much。Warren's books are always very exciting from the beginning and go out with a bang。 Fast action and quite a few twists and turns that I never saw coming。 This book made me shiver sometimes at some of the scenes Warren describes Alaska so well that I thought I was actually there with Boo。 I love Boo's name。 It really suits her。Yes， God is with us even in darkness。 We only need to seek Him and ask。Faith， Hope， and Love are the theme of this book。 Along with I've really enjoyed this story very much。Warren's books are always very exciting from the beginning and go out with a bang。 Fast action and quite a few twists and turns that I never saw coming。 This book made me shiver sometimes at some of the scenes Warren describes Alaska so well that I thought I was actually there with Boo。 I love Boo's name。 It really suits her。Yes， God is with us even in darkness。 We only need to seek Him and ask。Faith， Hope， and Love are the theme of this book。 Along with all the action taking place too。There’s the story we create， and the story we’re created for。 Maybe that’s what this adventure is all about。“There’s nothing wrong with letting someone into your life， Boo。 Trusting them。 You don’t always have to hold your emotions so tight to your chest。:Trust is a mighty hard thing for sure and certain！ Trust is the main theme of this book。 I loved every minute of this heart stopping story。 Everyone has a story。 For some， it's harder to open up than others。I loved Oaken's story。 My heart went out to him。 I thought him and Boo made a great team。 The cover of this book is gorgeous！ In my opinion， it fits the story well 5 stars for a well written story and for adding all the ingredients to keep me interested。 My thanks to Netgalley for a copy of this book。 I was NOT required to write a positive review。 All opinions expressed are my own。 。。。more

This has got to be one of Warren's best books。 This was an awesome read。 I loved Boo and Oaken。 They were both such great characters， and he made a great hero - a little uncertain and unsure of himself， but he came through when needed。The book had a lot - a lot - of drama and tense moments。 I think this author is at her best when she is writing about her characters rescuing people。 She did such a great job of describing the scenes， the danger， the tense moments for the rescuers。 It was epic。And This has got to be one of Warren's best books。 This was an awesome read。 I loved Boo and Oaken。 They were both such great characters， and he made a great hero - a little uncertain and unsure of himself， but he came through when needed。The book had a lot - a lot - of drama and tense moments。 I think this author is at her best when she is writing about her characters rescuing people。 She did such a great job of describing the scenes， the danger， the tense moments for the rescuers。 It was epic。And Warren did a pretty good job of writing country music lyrics :）When the book started， Oaken thought God was out to get him， to punish him， and he had some pretty messed up ideas about his sister's death some years before。 The author， through some of the characters， especially "Moose" and Axel， had some great truths。。。。。which is something I love about Christian fiction。 God can use it to speak to the readers。For such an action and drama-filled book， it had a quiet but very cool ending。 I am looking forward to the next book in the series。 I like the team the author has put together， and can't wait to read the others' stories。 。。。more

This book absolutely delivers！ I loved this action packed romantic adventure from Susan May Warren。 Alaska has long been a favorite setting of mine for suspense stories and I was so excited that this book would be taking place in its wild and unpredictable landscape！ The characters in this book were great and I genuinely liked them all！ The team dynamics worked so well and there were plenty of naturally occurring dangerous moments due to the nature of their jobs to bring excitement to the pages。 This book absolutely delivers！ I loved this action packed romantic adventure from Susan May Warren。 Alaska has long been a favorite setting of mine for suspense stories and I was so excited that this book would be taking place in its wild and unpredictable landscape！ The characters in this book were great and I genuinely liked them all！ The team dynamics worked so well and there were plenty of naturally occurring dangerous moments due to the nature of their jobs to bring excitement to the pages。 The romance between Boo and Oaken was slow building in the best way！ I was rooting for this couple！ I would absolutely recommend this one to suspense or romance readers！ It was enjoyable and entertaining and a great read！ 。。。more

Wow。 I am forever amazed by Susan's ability to suck me into a story。 She has written more characters， more stories， more thrilling adventures that I could ever imagine。 And she has made me love every single one。 One Last Shot was no exception。 I loved the trip back to Alaska and getting to have more adventures with Air One Rescue。 I loved meeting the rest of the team and revisiting the Kingstons from Sky King Ranch。 The adventures and the rescues from this story were completely captivating。 Susa Wow。 I am forever amazed by Susan's ability to suck me into a story。 She has written more characters， more stories， more thrilling adventures that I could ever imagine。 And she has made me love every single one。 One Last Shot was no exception。 I loved the trip back to Alaska and getting to have more adventures with Air One Rescue。 I loved meeting the rest of the team and revisiting the Kingstons from Sky King Ranch。 The adventures and the rescues from this story were completely captivating。 Susan's descriptions make me feel like I am right there in the snow， fighting for survival along with Boo and Oaken。 Boo Kingston is a bad***。 I absolutely loved her determination， her spirit， her grit， every single thing about her。 She is one tough woman and I envy her strength！ I loved seeing her give in to the family she created with the Air One team。 I loved the way they accepted her and let her come to them at her own pace。 I loved seeing her faith develop throughout the book too and the way that trusting in God only made her stronger than she already was。 And then， there's Oaken Fox。 Man， I tell you， Susan can write a swoon worthy hero。 I fall in love with all the male heroes she creates， but， I'll tell ya， her singing cowboys are some of my favorites。 I loved Oaken's tie in to Ben King from Susan's Montana Rescue series and I am absolutely convinced that she should write country songs because I really want to hear Oaken's set to music。 I loved how Oaken was lead to Air One to find the inner strength， inner hero that was already inside him。 His journey to forgiveness and hope and acceptance was inspiring。 All and all， this was another slam dunk for me。 I have loved all of Susan's books and this one was no exception！ I cannot wait for the next book of this series！ 。。。more

Another cute Susie May book！ Love the MN homegirl finding her way to AK。 Love the search and rescue aspect of the books。 Always a lot of fun！ Some mild inaccuracies it felt like…or maybe I was just misimagining locations， because at one point she was two hours from Anchorage visiting family but seemed closer to Denali even from anchorage…and also she throws a cup away in recycling bins at the hospital…STILL GOOD。 I’m excited for the next。
